We thought the Fremen would carry a Crockett Sling Backpack while shuffling through the desert avoiding sandworms. This rugged kit is great for your next adventure, whether it be a hiking trip, kayaking, motorcycling, or even a great option for daily use to work.

Crockett features an abundance of pockets: an exterior front slip pocket with securable flap, interior zipper and slip pockets, exterior side zip closure, and an adjustable crossbody or shoulder strap with left- or right-hand versatility. The slim design makes it easy to sling over your shoulder and go!

Great gift for the guys!

Love the masculine look that can be achieved with this bag. Next time I will use foam for structure and also put the interior zip pocket with the opening close to the front for easier access. Struggled a bit with skipped stitches on the vinyl patch covering the strap connectors. Tried several solutions from nonstick needles to different size needles (up to Jeans 16), and hand walking. Using BabyLock Jane straight stitch machine which never struggles with thicknesses, but it certainly didn’t like that combo. Any suggestions?
End result was very nice in spite of the struggle. Tutorial and tip sheet helpful because written instructions alone were a little hard to follow.

Man gift!

I am thrilled with the manly look of this bag! Sew hard to make stuff guys will like or use! The fabric sews beautifully, and although not real waxed water repellent I will ODI COAT it so it is. If it goes together well I plan to make several to give as gifts to the guys in my family. I am hoping the instructions are easy to follow as this is no beginner bag. I plan to check the Website for tips or help.
