The Lucky $2 Wallet is a simple, beginner level wallet that has been designed for sewing with cork fabric, faux leather, or kraft-tex. It only requires a small amount of material. This is a wonderful pattern for anyone who is sewing with cork, faux leather, or kraft-tex for the first time, or for using up scraps!

From start to finish, this sewing pattern takes approximately 60 minutes complete.

Love the kit

I love the kit with the pre-cut parts in it and the fact that I can make more using the pattern it comes with. I really like when you get a kit that you don't have to add anything to in order to complete it. I also like the quality of the products in the kit as well. I won't know how well I will like the design until I make one but that part is personal preference. I'll be curious to see how flat it folds once it's completed or if it needs a break in period like many wallets do.

Liked the material but...

Liked the material in the kit but a little disappointed that I couldn't get the wallet to remain closed even after clipping it, putting it under heavy books and even under my heat press. I hope with use and time it will flatten out and stay closed when it's not in a pocket.

We are sorry that it will not stay closed for you as I have not heard of that issue. Perhaps try setting it in the sun with a rubber band around it to gently 'heat' it. I think over time as it is in the pocket-it will stay closed for you.
